san pellegrino

Having written radio scripts I couldn't resist the opportunity of writing a TV ad script for San Pellegrino - Sparkling Italian Mineral Water - here's how it went:

Classic Italian cartoon character (Bubbly and effervescent) appears solo on stage holding bottle of San Pellegrino and slowly unscrews lid, each time the lid is unscrewed it releases the sounds of a classic Italian Opera singer, this is very fast staccato. As the lid is screwed back the singing ceases, to loud applause and shouts of 'encore' the lid is released for more opera. The final frame shows it being screwed back again and the Italian character taking a bow to roses being thrown onto the stage. The strapline and voice over 'All of Italy bottled up' close the advert.

CARTOON SCRIPT FOR STORMY STAN THE LIFEBOAT MAN

Having written radio scripts I couldn't resist the opportunity of writing a TV ad script for San Pellegrino - Sparkling Italian Mineral Water - here's how it went:

I wrote the very first cartoon script for Stormy Stan The Lifeboat Man who has been a long running cartoon for the kids section of the RNLI, it went like this:

Frame 1: Stormy Stan sitting on the quay side: 'The sea can be many things.'
Frame 2: 'It can be rough' Stan shows undulating wave movements with his hands.
Frame 3: 'It can be calm' Stan indicates flat sea with hand.
Frame 4: 'But worst of all it can be...' We just see Stan engulfed by huge wave that has just swamped him.
Frame 5: '...unpredictable!'
