Every pack tells a story...
...and most stories about packs that I have designed have happy endings, Wall's Feast and Twister would be a good example. I designed the original impulse wrappers back in 1983, simple flexographic over sleeves, they sold so well that more money was invested in the wrapper production, moving to a more complex gravure flow wrap. Both Feast and Twister were then launched as one of Wall's first multipacks and they are now popular global brands, I have amended these packs a few times since their launch but their design has remained close to the original versions.
Most packs that I have worked on have been food related, recognisable Birds Eye packs include Fish Fingers, Potato Waffles, Burgers, various meals, pies and veg ranges.
My formula for food has always been strong appetizing food image with strong branding - simple.
Other areas of pack design include computer games, music CDs, pharmaceuticals and coffee.
